Invite your team
You’ll usually want at least one teammate on the platform alongside you — a bookkeeper, a yard manager, a sales rep. Members can be invited by email and given a role that scopes what they see and do.
Send an invite
Section titled “Send an invite”-
Open Settings → Team.
-
Click Invite member. Enter the invitee’s email and pick a role:
- Owner — full access, bypasses every permission gate. Use sparingly.
- Admin — full access except platform-admin actions. Bypasses section permissions.
- Custom role — bounded by section permissions and (optionally) per-view, per-vault, per-location ACL. See Sections and roles.
-
Click Send invite. The invitee gets an email from Export119 with a one-click link. The invite is valid for 7 days.
-
The invitee clicks the link, signs up (or signs in if they already have an Export119 account), and is auto-attached to your company.
Revoke or re-invite
Section titled “Revoke or re-invite”There’s no “resend” — instead:
- Revoke an unaccepted invite — the link stops working immediately. You must revoke a pending invite before you can send a new one to the same email; sending a second invite to an email with an active pending invite is blocked.
- To re-invite someone (e.g. their invite expired, or you picked the wrong role), revoke the existing invite first, then send a new one.
- Remove an accepted member — their Clerk user remains; they just lose access to your company.
Multi-company members
Section titled “Multi-company members”A single Export119 user can belong to multiple companies (e.g., a freelance accountant working for several traders). Accounts can also be entirely personal (not tied to any company yet). Each membership carries an effective role — an overlay of the role granted for that specific company — so the same person can be an Admin on one company and a Custom/read-only role on another. They’ll see a company picker in the top bar; switching between companies is instant.
